Who is your mentor in life?

Many Christians, mostly the younger ones, are looking for a mentor.

That was also the case for me.

For years, I accepted what more mature Christians told me, without filtering whether it was completely in line with the Word. Purely and simply because I didn’t know what was expected of me as a young Christian. I had to break old patterns and build new ones (“Biblical” patterns). I was desperately looking for someone who could guide me in this.

As I have often mentioned, I was told from all sides that I just had to do “it,” but no one explained to me what “it” was exactly.

For this reason, I spent years searching for a mentor who could help me with this.

Fortunately, the mother of my “BFF” Anastasia came into my life and she supported me through difficult times, showed me how to pray, corrected me when I needed correction, and so on.

I was so grateful to Papa God for this woman’s life and that He used her so powerfully in my life!

Until the moment she was called home by Papa.

Despite the fact that I am delighted for her that she is with Papa, our creator, I experienced a slight panic.

Not only had I lost a wonderful, God-loving woman, but I had also lost my mentor.

Fortunately, Papa God does not sleep and in no time at all brought another fantastic woman of God into my life in the form of Cindy Mezas.

Fortunately, I had grown in my walk with Papa God, thanks to Sister Urmie, and I was ready for the message that the Holy Spirit gave me through Cindy.

She indicated that we do not need earthly mentors, because we have the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the only mentor you need!

This is why it is so essential for us Christians to have a relationship with Him.

Let me inspire you today to build a relationship with the Holy Spirit!

You can count on the Holy Spirit at all times. He will not lead you astray from the path of Papa God, His words never deviate from The Word, and He is always available to us.

16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. John 14:16-17

Love,
